It's National Kidney Month + More March Awareness

Tips for keeping your kidneys healthy:

  • Hydrate, remember 4-6 glasses of water a day!
  • Exercise, or simply move a little every day! (Get those steps in!!)
  • Eat healthy, remember your fruits and veggies.
  • Don't smoke, that's a given, c'mon!
  • Don't overdo it with over-the-counter medications, they can really do a number on your liver.
  • If you think you might be at risk for Kidney Disease, then schedule a screening.

“If you have either diabetes or high blood pressure, your physician should screen for kidney dysfunction as part of routine care for those conditions,” Dr. Simon says.

Here are the other main awareness months in March:

  • National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month
  • National Endometriosis Awareness Month
  • Red Cross Month
  • National MS Education and Awareness Month
And we will be rallying support for these causes all month! Tell all your friends and family about your cause and how to show support (maybe wearing some Bravelets bracelets!)

CREATE A BRAVE PAGE, IT'S EASY AS 1, 2, 3...

Do you have a cause that is close to your heart? Is it personal, inspired by someone you love, or support for a non-profit? Because if the answer was 'yes' to any of those questions, then YOU are a perfect candidate to start your own Brave Page.

Creating a Brave Page fundraiser is a great way to get your friends, family, and community involved in a cause you are passionate about. You can share your story, post about your fundraiser on social media, and every time someone purchases a Bravelet from your page, you get a direct donation of $10! It's that simple.

Brave Pages are a great place to raise money to cover medical expenses, funds in support of a cure and simply spread the message of bravery.

Find out more on our website, email us or call us at (800) 780-9227.

We look forward to fundraising with you!

Be brave,
kat

A Brave Page is a platform to share your story and why your cause is so close to your heart. It also has a fundraising element to it: you can personally raise money for a cause, organization, family or friend in need of support. The Bravelet you wear is a conversation starter, a difference-maker, and a stylish piece of jewelry all in in one. Spreading you story through a Brave Page can inspire others to reach higher, give back, and most importantly: Be Brave. And that's exactly what this wonderful Brave Page owner has done.
